How do we manufacture all our products?

At ZUHA, each leather bag is created with dedication, precision and commitment to quality and sustainability. From the initial design to the final touch, each step reflects our mission to offer high-quality accessories, made in Colombia with 100% national materials and labor.

1. Selecting the leather

The process begins with the selection of premium natural leather. Only cleanly tanned leather is used, which meets eco-friendly standards to minimise environmental impact. This ensures that each piece is strong, durable and has a unique texture that improves with time.

2. Exclusive design

Our designer, Iliana Aguirre, transforms each idea into a detailed sketch. Inspired by current trends and the preferences of our customers, Iliana creates unique designs that combine elegance, functionality and versatility. Each bag is designed to be a timeless piece that accompanies our customers in their daily activities and special occasions.

3. Cutting the leather

Once the design is approved, we proceed to cutting the leather. This stage is crucial, as precise cutting ensures the best use of each piece of leather and minimizes waste. Patterns are carefully traced onto the leather, and then hand-cut using precision tools to ensure that each part fits perfectly into the final design.

4. Assembly and sewing

After cutting, assembly begins. Our craftsmen sew each piece by hand, applying traditional leatherworking techniques that have been passed down through generations. At ZUHA we value handmade work because each stitch gives the bag the desired strength and aesthetics. Each seam is carefully checked to ensure durability and impeccable finish.

5. Quality control

Before each bag is packaged and prepared for sale, it goes through a rigorous quality control process. We review every detail to ensure it meets our standards of excellence. We check the stitching, hardware and overall finish to ensure the bag is in perfect condition.
